About UsHello, and welcome to our website! To give you more information about our family and our calling I would love to share some of our story! Taylor and my passion for missions began years ago as we both were born to parents who pursued their callings to missions abroad. During our time growing up in Christian homes abroad we developed our own personal relationships with God and felt God stirring our hearts toward missions overseas. Taylor's passion has always been sports, and through the course of high school and college God quickly revealed how sports could be used as an avenue to reach the lost. As for myself, I have always found myself drawn to working with younger children. In high school I quickly got involved in helping at an orphanage, and helped with several English camps in order to show God's love to those around us. After high school we both moved our separate ways as God led us to different universities. However, throughout college we continued to date and pursue each other as well as God's calling on our life. We began to see how God had, and continued to, mold similar passions in our hearts. From that point on we began to dream not only with God, but with each other. Taylor moved up to Michigan after completing his Physical Education degree at Baylor University in Texas, and after dating for nearly seven years Taylor and I got married on June 5th. As I completed my Elementary Education degree with minors in Early Childhood Education and Teaching English as a Second Language from Spring Arbor University, Taylor taught at Paragon Charter Academy in Jackson. Needless to say our calling to go overseas was put on hold as we were developing the passions and skills God had given us. In the past year God has begun to open doors leading us back overseas. We are so excited to be able to apply all we have learned and what God has been teaching us throughout college and work experience as we go back overseas. We look forward to this adventure that God has called us to, as we continue to follow His leading to Bangkok, Thailand. Where Taylor will be teaching Physical Education at International Community School (ICS), while I will be developing an ESL program in partnership with Free Methodist World Missions (FMWM). We hope you will team up with us through prayer, giving, or going. Thank you for your time and if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us. |
