Bangkok Bound!
Taylor and I are excited to begin this journey with you! We first want to thank you for partnering with us, and the mission that God is leading in Thailand. It has always ben our desire to bring nonbelievers to Christ. As many of you may know, Taylor and I grew up in Chiang Mai, Thailand and until about three months ago that is where we were headed. It has and still is a dream of ours to be able to return to the high school we attended to make a difference in the lives of missionary kids and nonbelievers at Grace International School. However, as we began to pursue Grace God had other plans for us. We felt God challenging us to pause and take a step back. Taylor and I both struggled during this time but knew it was what was best for us, we responded by seeking God through prayer, reading scripture, talking to several key mentors in our lives, and simply taking time to listen. At the end of several months Taylor and I felt God leading us away from GIS at the moment and draw our hearts in line with His. Our Father truly knows best! Taylor and I have had a clear calling to Thailand and so we began to ask God where He wanted us. It was then that Taylor found a job posting at International Community School (ICS). Ironically Bangkok is a city I never saw myself moving to but God had other plans. Taylor will be serving at ICS and Christian School with 70% local non-believers, teaching Physical Education, and a bible class. I will be partnering with Free Methodist World Missions in order to develop and TESL program helping to provide locals with English in order to help them get better jobs, but ultimately it will be used as a platform to introduce people to Christ. We are thrilled that you will be joining our family of three in this amazing journey and cannot wait to see where the Lord leads us.
